We’re a friendly and inclusive carving club with members of all experience levels. While we welcome newcomers of all abilities, please note that for insurance reasons, all members must be aged 18 or over. This is a self-help group, so there’s no formal training course or class—members share tips, techniques, and encouragement as they work on their own projects.

Access to the Woodworking Classroom — Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School
- Access the school from Green Lane (B6158) and use the main car park.
- Walk past the main school entrance (Reception), heading toward the large square building (the Sports Centre).
- Enter through the large green wire gate near the Sports Centre.
- Go through the white PVC double doors on your left, into E Block (away from the Sports Centre).
- Walk down the main corridor for about 10 metres, then turn right into the small corridor opposite Henry Diner.
- Go through the two sets of double doors.
- Turn left into the large woodworking classroom with several workbenches — this is where Dronfield Wood Carving Club meets.
