Membership
We’re a friendly and inclusive carving club with members of all experience levels. While we welcome newcomers of all abilities, please note that for insurance reasons, all members must be aged 18 or over.
This is a self-help group, so there’s no formal training course or class—members share tips, techniques, and encouragement as they work on their own projects.
The Club provides wood for new members, along with several sets of chisels and other tools available for use. We also offer sandpaper and other abrasives for sale to support your carving projects.
To cover the cost of room hire and other expenditures our Membership Fees for the year are £21 Per Year or £7 Per Term plus £5 for each Meeting attended.
Visitors who decide to join the Club will have their first two week’s subscriptions refunded.
